Flight from HELL(O)

Can you believe it, I am writing this from the plane!! We are finally on the way to Israel. I think I have figured out now what has happened, and the sequence of the flights. Firstly, we were supposed to leave from Cincinnati at 2:30, but we missed that flight since we were in traffic; we took the 4:10 flight from Cincinnati, except that we left late, at 4:35, and we were supposed to arrive at JFK at 6:10. Instead the plane arrived late and we arrived at 7:00. Therefore, we missed the plane to Tel Aviv on El-Al. Now the fun starts!! Upon arriving at JFK, a Delta person said that we were transferred to a flight to Brussels, and we had to go to exit eight, were would be scheduled to travel to Brussels on Delta, and then connect to El Al there. However, what this person did not know was that you needed to have a travel coupon printed up, and since we did not have this, we were sent to ticketing, missing this make up flight. Now, upon arriving at the ticketing counter, some dude tried to help us get tickets, but had a hard time. He assured us that there was no later EL AL flight, and that there was no way that we could make the Newark flight at 11:50! So after waiting there for an hour, we were sent to another ticket counter, were finally, we were put onto a continental flight leaving at 11:15. The time now was 9:50! In the meantime, we had called our cousins the herzs, for food and moral support, due the lack of either one at that point. Now that we had a flight, we ran to terminal four, and now we had another problem, EL AL had our luggage!! We could not find any personal in the airport, and when we arrived at the conferential desk, they told us that Delta had never called to tell them they were transferring customers, and there was no way for us to fly with them!! At this time…we saw EL AL people coming to set up a ticket counter, turns out that there was another EL AL flight, at 2:30 AM. So, my father went back downstairs to get the tickets changed back to this EL AL flight. BUT.... they were standby tickets…..finally, at 1:30 they told us that we had tickets, and that our luggage would be with us….and now here we are flying….sleeping…on a 777 on the way to Israel…..
